She/Her

Lydia brings a strong appreciation for diverse clinical and personal perspectives to her work as a music therapist. She values collaboration with fellow therapists and believes that learning from a variety of experiences helps her continue to grow and deepen her work with clients.

Lydia joined the Alliance Music Therapy team in November 2025 as an independent contractor to assist in furthering our team’s reach and expand the populations we provide services for.  Lydia has worked with individuals ranging from 2 to 80 years old with diagnoses such as Autism in both the school and in-home setting, Down Syndrome, Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Dementia.  She frequently shares with her clients and colleagues to always bring your authentic self to sessions!

In regard to her clinical training, Lydia went to college at Nazareth University in Pittford, New York and did her internship at Harmony Creative Therapy in Rochester, NY.  Lydia played in many string quartets throughout high school and college, and always loved how connected she felt to the other musicians she played with.  Once she realized that these connections through music could be applied within a therapeutic framework, she knew that going into the field of Music Therapy was for her!

In her free time, Lydia enjoys biking, reading, and trying new recipes. She values caring for her own mental health just as much as she encourages her clients to do the same.  Lydia stays grounded by connecting with her supportive community of friends—many of whom are fellow music therapists—and by spending time outdoors whenever she can.
