LaQuisha        Kingsley

Executive Administrative Assistant

Independent Contractor

BAS- Early Childhood Education

LaQuisha grew up in a military family that moved around the world until her family settled in Minnesota in 2005. She went to college and earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. She began as a lead preschool teacher in 2013 and worked her way up to management as the Center Director in 2019. After the pandemic, she decided to step away and focus on her family life and that is where she transitioned to an HR role. On the side of her 9-5 job she started Virtual Assisting for small businesses, which is how she began her journey as our Administrative Assistant.

LaQuisha (pronounced "la-kwee-sha") joined the Alliance Music Therapy team in November of 2023 as an independent contractor to assist in various administrative tasks.  With many years of experience working with children and families in education, her background and knowledge of systems, processes, and communication make her a great asset to our Alliance team!  She has worked with varying families from low income to wealthy middle class.  Always communicating with families professionally, respectfully, and equally.

LaQuisha was drawn to working with Alliance Music Therapy because she felt she could stay connected to the world of helping others, utilizing her detail oriented skills but also maintaining the work life balance that is so very important to her.  Her favorite part about being the Administrative Assistant is the versatility of the job.  Each day I am able to do something new and can speak with amazing clients, families, and team members.

In her free time, LaQuisha loves to visit museums, fairs, wineries, concerts, and movies. She has two young daughters so when they aren't at their many extra curricular's such as gymnastics or dance, they like to be outside, going for ice cream, or visiting a park!

LaQuisha is the absolute BEST! When you first meet her, whether it's during an intake call or if you need help with a difficult task, her genuine kindness, calm presence, and determination to find a solution makes you feel at ease and wonder how you ever got on without her. Knowing she's the first person our client-families make contact with in our practice gives us all a sense of reassurance that they're in great hands with someone who sincerely cares. Thank you, LaQuisha, for everything you do to support our team and clients!
